Aetna announced Sept. 30 that Dr. Loveman will become an executive vice president and the president of Healthagen, an expanded health services organization that includes Aetna’s consumer business.

Dr. Loveman served as Caesars CEO from 2003 until June of this year, when he stepped down in the wake of the company’s bankruptcy. He will remain chairman of Caesars.

“I’m pleased to join Aetna as the company prepares to nearly double in size through the planned acquisition of Humana,” said Dr. Loveman, who will report to Aetna CEO Mark Bertolini.
