9 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. The Berwick (Pa.) Hospital Center named Diane Ljungquist CEO, effective Oct. 5.

2. Estes Park (Colo.) Medical Center selected Mark Gregson as interim CEO.

3. David Castleberry, CEO of Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, Ga., announced his resignation.

4. Tomislav Mihaljevic, MD, is taking over the role of CEO of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

5. The Brooklyn (N.Y.) Hospital Center appointed Gary G. Terrinoni president and CEO.

6. Mike McBride, president and CEO of St. Mary's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo., plans to leave the hospital for a new job with CHI St. Luke's Health in Houston.

7. Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital promoted Keith Barber to CEO.

8. Bruce Tassin, CEO of Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center will leave his post at the end of October to become president of 468-bed Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky., part of Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives.

9. Stanford (Calif.) Health Care President and CEO Amir Dan Rubin will leave his post at the end of 2015 to join UnitedHealth Group and its Optum organization as executive vice president.
