Ms. Anderson has served as a dual member of Virginia Mason’s C-suite — CFO and CIO — since 2007, but her history with the organization stretches back to 1986, when, as a consultant, she first worked at the Virginia Mason Clinic billing office after a billing system conversion. Under Ms. Anderson’s leadership, the health system has maintained an operating margin between 2 and 4 percent — while completing a major campus building project. Net revenue for the system is approaching $1 billion. Ms. Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Notre Dame and attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., to earn her MBA.
