Lawrence Antonucci, MD. President and CEO of Lee Health (Fort Myers, Fla.). Dr. Antonucci joined Lee Health in 2007 as Cape Coral (Fla.) Hospital’s chief administrative officer. He rose through the ranks to become COO of the health system in 2011 before being named president and CEO in June. He has experience implementing a lean culture to engage employees and physicians in quality, safety and patient experience initiatives. In his current role, Dr. Antonucci is responsible for coordinating internal and external affairs, as well as designing and executing long- and short-term objectives. Dr. Antonucci began his career as a clinician and co-founded Physicians Primary Care, a multispecialty physician practice, in 1983.
