9 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. HealthSouth named Kay Peck CEO of the future HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Modesto (Calif.).

2. Joel T. Allison, president and CEO of Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health, will leave his post next year to take on an advisory role.

3. Darcy J. Davis was named CEO of the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, a safety-net healthcare system in Florida.

4. Hickory, N.C.-based Frye Regional Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint Healthcare facility, named Garfield "Gar" Atchison CEO.

5. Clay Taylorlor is resigning from his post as CEO of Covenant Health Plainview (Texas).

6. Rome (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital named David W. Lundquist as its next president and CEO, effective March 1.

7. Gary Shorb, CEO of Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, will retire at the end of 2016.

8. Dayton, Ohio-based Premier Health named Mary Boosalis president and CEO.

9. Pamela Reed, MSN, RN, was promoted to CEO of Kindred Hospital Melbourne (Fla.).
