Rome Memorial picks new CEO: 4 things to know

Rome (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital has named David W. Lundquist as its next president and CEO, effective March 1.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Lundquist.

1. For nearly a quarter century, he has served as CEO of hospitals in Oklahoma, New Jersey and most recently at the Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley in Kingston, N.Y.

2. During his tenure at the Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley, he navigated three hospitals and two residential centers through a successful affiliation and system integration.

3. In his newest role, he will replace interim president and CEO Darlene Burns.

4. Mr. Lundquist earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering at the University of Oklahoma, based in Norman, and a master’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma City University.
