9 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Texas Medical Center in Houston is losing its CEO Robert C. Robbins, MD, to the University of Arizona in Tucson.

2. La Porte (Ind.) Hospital tapped Ashley Dickinson to serve as CEO.

3. Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Corp. appointed Jim Kendrick president and CEO, effective April 17.

4. Webster, Texas-based Bay Area Regional Medical Center CEO Tim Schmidt is leaving his post to focus on his health.

5. Lowell, Mass.-based Circle Health appointed Joseph White CEO of Lowell (Mass.) General Hospital as well as Circle Health, effective April 10.

6. Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health named Robert Parker president of its Central Kentucky East market and CEO of Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Ky., effective May 1.

7. New London, Conn.-based Lawrence + Memorial Healthcare tapped Patrick L. Green to serve as president and CEO, effective June 5.

8. Poteau-based Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center's governing board suspended CEO Michael Carter, pending a special committee investigation.

9. Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer, Alaska, selected David Wallace to lead as its new CEO, effective June 5.
