1. Ms. Dickinson most recently served as COO of Valparaiso, Ind.-based Porter Health Care System.
2. Prior to that, she was COO and assistant CEO at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Mo.
3. She succeeds Gigi Fergus, who had been serving as interim CEO since September 2016.
4. In September, CEO Thor Thordarson resigned. The move came seven months after Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health sold a majority stake in La Porte Hospital to Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.
5. CHS also owns Porter Health Care System.
