Medical City Healthcare promotes Zach Mueller to chief nursing executive system-wide: 4 things to know

Irving, Texas-based Medical City Healthcare named Zach Mueller, DNP, RN, chief nursing executive.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Mueller formerly served as senior vice president and chief nursing executive at Medical City Dallas and Medical City Children’s Hospital, also in Dallas.

2. Prior to that, he was associate CNO at The Medical Center of Aurora (Colo.).

3. In his new role, Mr. Mueller will be responsible for nursing practice, education, research and operations at 13 Medical City Healthcare hospitals.

4. He will assume his new system-wide role once a replacement has been selected to serve as chief nursing executive of Medical City Dallas.
