Robert Parker to serve as LifePoint’s Central Kentucky East market president, Clark Regional CEO: 4 notes

Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health named Robert Parker president of its Central Kentucky East market and CEO of Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Ky., effective May 1.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Parker most recently served as market president for Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Ky., and Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg, Ky., a regional collaboration formed in 2016. He was also CEO of Meadowview Regional Medical Center.

2. Previously, he served as assistant administrator and COO at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky., also a LifePoint facility.

3. In 2013, he won LifePoint’s Fleetwood Award for operational excellence.

4. Mr. Parker succeeds Ron Tyrer, who serves as interim CEO for LifePoint hospitals.
