10 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, La., tapped Jeremy Tinnerello, MSN, to lead as CEO.

2. Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner, Iowa, selected Steve Slessor to serve as interim CEO for a six-month period.

3. Less than one month after resigning from his post as Concord-based New Hampshire Hospital CEO, Bob MacLeod has started working at a state nursing home for patients with developmental disabilities.

4. Chippewa County-Montevideo (Minn.) Hospital selected Chuck Bruhn as interim CEO.

5. Waukegan, Ill.-based Vista Health System appointed Norman F. Stephens interim CEO, following Barbara Martin's abrupt departure from the role last week.

6. Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kan., selected Jerry Dooley to serve as interim CEO.

7. Lovelace Westside Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M., named Amy Blasing CEO.

8. Metairie, La.-based East Jefferson General Hospital tapped Gerald Parton to lead as its permanent president and CEO.

9. Pikeville (Ky.) Medical Center appointed Donovan Blackburn assistant CEO.

10. Richmond-based Hospital Corporation of America Virginia selected Joe Mazzo, RN, to serve as CEO of John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell, Va.
