Joe Mazzo is John Randolph Medical Center’s new CEO: 4 things to know

Richmond-based Hospital Corporation of America Virginia selected Joe Mazzo, RN, to serve as CEO of John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell, Va., according to a report by The Progress-Index.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Mazzo will assume his new role on May 30.

2. He is currently COO at HCA’s Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah.

3. Before then, he was COO of River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Tenn.

4. He succeeds Suzanne Jackson, who is leaving to take on a new opportunity within the HCA network.
