NewYork-Presbyterian appoints Dr. Peter Fleischut chief transformation officer: 5 things to know

New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian named Peter M. Fleischut, MD, senior vice president and chief transformation officer.

Here are five things to know:

1. Dr. Fleischut previously served as NewYork-Presbyterian’s chief innovation officer.

2. As chief innovation officer, he led the development of NYP OnDemand, the organization’s comprehensive digital health program.

3. In the new role as chief transformation officer, Dr. Fleischut will continue to lead NYP OnDemand as well as oversee enterprise integration, transformation for clinical operations and innovation initiatives.

4. Additionally, he will play a key role in implementing clinical technology operations at the David H. Koch Center at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, which is slated to open in 2018.
