Seattle Cancer Care Alliance hires Dr. Theresa McDonnell as chief nurse executive: 4 things to know

The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, which includes six clinical sites, appointed Theresa M. McDonnell, DNP, MSN, vice president of clinical operations and chief nurse executive.

Here are four things to know:

1. Most recently, Dr. McDonnell served as director of cancer center clinical services at Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital.

2. While at Massachusetts General, she also co-developed the financial care coordination team for oncology and acted as clinical director for the Katherine A. Gallagher Integrated Therapies Program.

3. She has served on the Boston Oncology Nursing Society’s the board of directors.

4. She earned her doctorate from MGH Institute of Health Professions.
