Western Plains Medical Complex appoints Jerry Dooley interim CEO: 3 notes

Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kan., selected Jerry Dooley to serve as interim CEO, according to a Dodge Globe report.

Here are three notes:

1. Mr. Dooley replaces Julie McCormack, who recently departed from her role.

2. Equipped with more than 35 years of healthcare industry experience, Mr. Dooley has previously served as CEO at hospitals in Indiana and Illinois before he retired.

3. He came out of retirement and started working with Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health, Western Plains Medical Complex’s parent, a few years later.
