7 latest hospital, health system CIO, CTO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CIO and chief technology officer moves in the last month.

1. In the midst of its transition to the Epic EHR, Englewood (N.J.) Hospital and Medical Center has named Ravikanth Koganti its vice president of IT and CIO.

2. Barbara Byrne, MD, will serve as senior vice president and CIO at Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care.

3. Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia named Mary Carroll Ford vice president and CIO.

4. Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia, Calif., selected Ray Moss to serve as vice president and CIO.

5. Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine selected Andrew Rosenberg, MD, as its permanent CIO after serving as interim CIO since January 2016.

6. Redwood City, Calif.-based Verity Health System named Eric Leader its chief technology officer.

7. Dallas-based UT Southwestern tapped Marc E. Milstein to serve as vice president of information resources and CIO.
