Here are three things to know about the tentative agreement.
1. The agreement covers about 400 hospital workers, including the maintenance, housekeeping and dietary units, plus unit secretaries. The employees had been working without a contract since the old contract expired Jan. 31, according to the Observer-Reporter.
2. No other details about the contract were disclosed.
3. The employees had planned to go on strike Feb. 16 and Feb. 17 if a deal wasn’t reached.
