The hospital renamed the center in recognition of a seven-figure donation from the Barbara and Fred Kort Foundation. The donation allows the center to offer digital tomosynthesis and will fund other expanded services.

The foundation also made a gift to support breast cancer research by Helena Chang, MD, who provided treatment to Barbara Kort.
