Rush University Medical Center (Chicago).Rush University Medical Center boasts a variety of programs and services geared toward women’s health concerns, including breast cancer, pregnancy and osteoporosis. It is home to the first women’s heart program in Chicago that staffs 13 physicians and specialists focused on cardiovascular disease, clinical genetics, neurology and clinical psychology. As an academic institution, Rush gives its breast cancer patients the option to enroll in clinical trials that may offer access to experimental treatments not available elsewhere. For its 2017-18 rankings, U.S. News & World Report ranked Rush University Medical Center among the top 40 hospitals in the nation for gynecological care.
