The Department of Radiology at Stanford (Calif.) Medicine is collaborating with Novartis to advance translational research in radioligand imaging.
The partnership aims to accelerate early evidence development around imaging targets for a range of oncologic applications, the health system said in a Dec. 17 news release. Stanford will contribute expertise in molecular imaging, nuclear medicine and translational medicine to help inform strategies for radioligand imaging.
Leaders at the department said the collaboration will support the translation of preclinical targets into clinical imaging tools and aid the development of precision imaging technologies that guide clinical decision-making.
