RWJBarnabas Health-Monmouth Medical Center (Long Branch, N.J). Monmouth Medical Center is one of New Jersey’s largest academic medical centers and is home to the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center, which is a certified quality breast center of excellence, the highest certification level offered by the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers. The hospital also offers women comprehensive maternity services at its Eisenberg Family Center. The hospital is staffed by more than 50 obstetricians/gynecologists who provide services across the spectrum of women’s health. Monmouth Medical Center’s 29-bed Regional Newborn Center is a state-designated Level III perinatal center that treats around 550 infants each year. The center, staffed by more than 50 specially trained NICU nurses, ranks in the top 25 percent for survival and No. 7 in the Vermont Oxford Network, an international database for benchmarking that includes more than 300 facilities.
