Pulaski Community Hospital in Virginia Names New CEO

Mark Nichols, FACHE, has been named CEO of Pulaski (Va.) Community Hospital, a member of HCA Virginia Health System, according to a news release by the hospital.

Mr. Nichols has been with HCA for 19 years, most recently serving as CEO for Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon, Ga.

“Mark brings with him outstanding depth and breadth of healthcare leadership and management,” Victor Giovanetti, president of HCA Southwest Virginia, said in the release. “Mark is very civic minded and looks forward to being an active member of the Pulaski community.”

Mr. Nichols holds a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Illinois.
