Hospital of Central Connecticut Names New CEO

The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, Conn., has named Clarence J. Silvia to succeed President and CEO Laurence A. Tanner, who is retiring, according to a report in the Hartford Courant.

Mr. Silva has served as senior vice president and chief operating officer of the 414-bed hospital.

He previously was president and CEO of Bradley Memorial Hospital before it merged with New Britain General Hospital in 2006 to create the Hospital of Central Connecticut.
