Good Samaritan Baltimore Names New CEO

Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore has named Jeffrey A. Matton as CEO and president, according to a release from the hospital.

He takes over from Larry M. Beck, who had headed the 317-bed community hospital, part of MedStar Health, since 1994.

Mr. Matton has been senior vice president and chief operating officer for Good Samaritan since 2006.

Mr. Beck will remain at Good Samaritan as a part-time consultant, assisting Mr. Matton with strategic and operational initiatives.
