Georgia’s Southern Regional Health System Names New CEO

Southern Regional Health System in Riverdale, Ga., has named Stephen W. Mahan as its new CEO, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Mr. Mahan has been CEO of Muskogee (Okla.) Regional Medical Center and has worked in the hospital industry for 32 years.

He succeeds Clint Matthews, who served for 18 months under a management contract with the system’s flagship, 331-bed Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale.
