Burke Medical Center Under New Management

Burke Medical Center, a 40-bed hospital in Waynesboro, Ga., started a management contract with Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Corp. today, according to a report by The True Citizen.

The contract will be in place for several months, according to the report. Community Hospital Corp. is working to lease the hospital from the Burke County Hospital Authority.
