Answer Health on Demand to teach physician assistant students about virtual care

Allendale, Mich.-based Grand Valley State University has entered a partnership with Answer Health on Demand to teach its physician assistant students about telehealth, according to MLive.

Students at Grand Valley State University will participate in a rotation with providers from the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based telemedicine company. During this rotation, students will observe telemedicine appointments and learn about the legal aspects of virtual healthcare with Answer Health on Demand providers.

"Telemedicine is the future of healthcare, so we want our students to gain a general understanding of how it works and how it can be utilized," Martina Reinhold, assistant professor of physician assistant studies at the university, told MLive.
