Intermountain Medical Center (Murray, Utah). The medical center, opened in 2007, is the flagship facility for Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare. With 454 beds, Intermountain Medical is the largest hospital in Utah. The medical center is comprised of five interconnected centers of excellence: women’s/newborn care; heart/lung care; emergency/trauma care; outpatient care; and cancer care. Intermountain Medical is active in more than 400 clinical research projects.
