Fairview Hospital (Great Barrington, Mass.). Fairview Hospital is an affiliate of Pittsfield, Mass.-based Berkshire Health System. Using telemedicine to link with Berkshire Medical Center, Fairview Hospital has earned a Primary Stroke Designation from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. According to Healthgrades, the hospital ranked in the top 10 percent of hospitals for patient safety and thus earned the Outstanding Patient Experience Award from the organization this year. Last year, the hospital also earned the Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades. Additionally, Leapfrog named Fairview as one of its Top Rural Hospitals in 2014.
