The pharmacy chain and drugmaker are partnering to increase recruitment and improve diversity in clinical trials, according to a news release. The collaboration aims to increase Black and Hispanic representation in the studies, since these populations are more likely to have obesity and are underrepresented in clinical trials.

Boehringer Ingelheim is also working with EmVenio Research to roll out mobile research units.
