Uber eyeing drug, medical device delivery

Uber is considering expanding its service to deliver healthy meals, drugs and durable medical equipment, Uber Health chief Dan Trigub said at a CBInsights’ Future of Health Conference this week.

When asked about expanding delivery service to include medicine and equipment, he said they were “all things we’re absolutely thinking about,” Politico reported in its Morning eHealth newsletter.

Mr. Trigub said there could be interest from payers, especially Medicare Advantage plans, which have been covering more supplemental health services, such as grocery delivery.
