Hackensack Meridian Health, an 18-hospital system based in Edison, N.J., has appointed Clyde Spence, PharmD, as vice president and chief pharmacy officer.
Dr. Spence, who previously served as network director of acute care pharmacy services, announced his promotion in a Feb. 17 LinkedIn post.
Before joining Hackensack Meridian in 2024, Dr. Spence served in pharmacy leadership roles at Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health, Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health, St. Louis-based Ascension and Charleston (W.Va.) Area Medical Center, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Hackensack Meridian’s former chief pharmacy officer, Will Carroll, PharmD, joined Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health as vice president and CPO in December.
