Hackensack Meridian pharmacy chief moves to Sutter Health

Will Carroll, PharmD, has joined Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health as vice president and chief pharmacy officer after three years at Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health. 

Dr. Carroll assumed his new role Nov. 3, according to a spokesperson for the 27-hospital system. At Hackensack Meridian, he served as vice president of network pharmacy and chief pharmacy officer. 

At Sutter, Dr. Carroll will lead efforts to “create a seamless, integrated experience for patients on complex medication therapies [and improve] quality through a system service lines approach,” according to the spokesperson. The role spans inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory and specialty pharmacy services.
