Premier has recognized Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System with the 2025 Pharmacy Compounding Excellence Award
Premier presented the award in mid-July to honor BayCare’s “high standards of compounding services to promote patient safety, respond to supply disruptions and demonstrate leadership in advancing pharmacy compounding practice,” according to a July 31 news release.
The health system operates 16 hospitals in West Central Florida and runs one of the four FDA-approved 503B compounding facilities owned by a U.S. health system, the release said.
