San Francisco-based Omada Health, a digital behavioral medicine provider, received $50 million in a recent fundraising round led by Bloomfield, Conn.-based Cigna.
Other investors participating in the funding round included Louisville, Ky.-based Humana, Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente and Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services.
In addition to its stake in Omada, Cigna will also expand its partnership with the company. The expanded relationship will provide policyholders with chronic diseases like diabetes free access to Omada's digital behavioral health services.
