7 companies Memorial Hermann is investing in

Houston-based Memorial Hermann is one of the largest health systems in the country and recently has made some serious investments through its venture capital arm. 

Here are seven investments made by Memorial Hermann since April 2022:

 

  1. The health system invested an undisclosed amount in telenutrition company Foodsmart. Memorial Hermann is joining the company’s Foodscript Network as a founding member.

  2. Memorial Hermann joined with CVS, Cigna and Humana to participate in a $375 million funding round for in-home care serving polychronic patients company Monogram Health.

  3. In September, the Texas health system invested in cost-cycle company SpendMend.

  4. Memorial Hermann participated in a $150 million series D funding round for cloud analytics company Clarify Health.

  5. In December, Memorial Hermann became a strategic investor in Cedar, a digital health billing company.

  6. In July, the health system invested in revenue cycle management company EnableComp.

  7. Memorial Hermann joined other health systems to invest in Leiters, a provider of sterile pharmacy services.
