The health system is scheduled to be sold to Nashville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health Services on Aug. 5 for $69.8 million, unless any other bidders come forward. If others do present themselves, the health system will go up for auction.
The sale is subject to approval by the state Attorney General’s office, which is expected to make a decision on the Ardent deal in two weeks, according to the report.
Three-hospital Forum filed for bankruptcy in March 2009.
