The 78-bed Sharon (Conn.) Hospital will join Health Quest’s other medical facilities, including Poughkeepsie, N.Y.-based Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Rhinebeck, N.Y.-based Northern Duchess Hospital and Carmel, N.Y.-based Putnam Hospital Center, according to the article.
Health Quest is currently in the process of submitting a certificate of need to the state of Connecticut to officially obtain ownership of SharonHospital. Officials said the facility is expected to officially join Health Quest by mid-2017, pending state regulatory approvals.
