Ohio's Brown County General Selects Southwest Healthcare's Proposal

In its fourth attempt to sell in nearly two years, Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio, has accepted Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Southwest Healthcare's proposal, according to a News Democrat report.

Specific details of the proposal have not been released due to a confidentiality agreement.

The Brown County Regional HealthCARE Board of Trustees was also considering a proposal from Cincinnati-based Christ Hospital. The board said Southwest's proposal best met criteria set forth in a request for proposals advertised by the hospital and the county.
