Rochester General Health System to Open Imaging Center

Rochester (N.Y.) General Health System plans to open an imaging center in the Alexander Park medical campus next week, according to a Democrat and Chronicle report.

The center will be located on the first floor of a building adjacent to the former site of RGHS' Genesee Hospital in Rochester, which closed in 2001.

RGHS is leasing a 6,700-square-foot office on the first floor and is spending $4.3 million on renovations and new equipment, according to the report. The center will offer bone density screening, mammography, CT scans and non-invasive ultrasound.
