Wyoming County Community Health System taps Connie Almeter as first CNO

Wyoming County Community Health System in Warsaw, N.Y., appointed Connie Almeter, RN, chief nursing officer, a newly created role.

Ms. Almeter, who assumed the new role at the end of July, has worked at the health system for 35 years. Most recently, she was the acute director of nursing.

She also has experience as director of workplace health services, nursing education and infection control at the health system and coordinated the most recent successful Joint Commission survey and accreditation.
