Valhalla, N.Y.-based Westchester Medical Center Health Network appointed Paula Fessler, MSN, RN, chief nurse executive for its Valhalla and Poughkeepsie campuses, according to a Hudson Valley 360 report.

1. Ms. Fessler most recently vice president of the emergency medicine service line at New York City-based Northwell Health.
2. She also has experience working at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
3. In her new role, she will be responsible for nursing teams and operations at:

• Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla
• Behavioral Health Center in Valhalla
