Vera Jones named COO at Copley Hospital

Vera Jones has been promoted to COO of Morrisville, Vt.-based Copley Hospital, according to the News and Citizen.

Ms. Jones has been vice president of operations at Copley for the past 16 months, previously serving as vice president of physician services at Berlin-based Central Vermont Medical Center.

“Vera’s leadership and dedication to our patients, staff and community has been outstanding,” said Art Mathisen, Copley’s president and CEO, according to the News and Citizen. “As her responsibilities expanded over the last year, she has essentially been performing the role of COO.”
