Here are four things to know about Dr. Smythe.
1. As Valence Health CMO, Dr. Smythe will “set the clinical vision for Valence Health,” officials said. He will oversee more than 12 physicians, 100 nurses and other clinicians employed by the company.
2. Before joining Valence Health, Dr. Smythe was CMO of AVIA.
3. He was also previously CEO of HX360, a HIMSS/AVIA joint venture.
4. While he is CMO of Valence Health, Dr. Smythe will continue to be a senior advisor to the executive leadership team at HX360.
