1. Mr. Baverso stepped into the role July 1 and oversees the Cumberland Region, which includes UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Campus in Mechanicsburg, Pa., and UPMC Carlisle (Pa.) hospital.
2. Most recently, he was vice president of operations at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside in Pittsburgh.
3. He previously served as vice president of operations and CIO at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh.
4. Mr. Baverso holds an MBA from Chatham University in Pittsburgh and a master of information services management degree from Robert Morris University in Chicago.
