Dr. Peters currently serves as chair of the department of surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital and the University of Rochester (N.Y.) School of Medicine and Dentistry.
He has also served as surgeon-in-chief at Strong Memorial and chief of the division of general surgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
