UMC New Orleans appoints new VP of clinical research: 4 things to know

The University Medical Center New Orleans named Jyotsna Fuloria, MD, its new vice president of clinical research.

Here are four things to know about Dr. Fuloria.

  1. In her new role, Dr. Fuloria will oversee all of UMC’s research and clinical trials.
  1. Previously, Dr. Fuloria served as the director of clinical oncology research at the Ochsner Cancer Institute in New Orleans.
  1. She has more than 18 years of experience in clinical research, specializing in the study of gastrointestinal cancers.
  1. Dr. Fuloria will begin her new role at UMC in January 2017.
