Colleton Medical Center CEO Brad Griffin to leave: 4 things to know

Walterboro, S.C.-based Colleton Medical Center CEO Brad Griffin is departing, effective Jan. 1, 2017, according to a Walterboro Live report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Griffin is leaving to take on the role of CEO at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center in Panama City, Fla., a Tallahassee-based Hospital Corporation of America North Florida facility.

2. He was named CEO of Colleton Medical Center, a Charleston, S.C.-based HCA South Atlantic facility, in 2013.

3. During his tenure, the hospital renovated the intensive care unit and launched neurology and critical care telemedicine programs.

4. Colleton Medical Center CFO Jimmy Hiott will serve as interim CEO.
