Ukiah Valley Medical Center names Dr. David Ploss CMO

Ukiah (Calif.) Valley Medical Center, part of Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health, has appointed David R. Ploss, MD, as CMO, according to the Ukiah Daily Journal.

In this role, Dr. Ploss will help design, implement and oversee the organization’s clinical quality, patient safety and performance improvement initiatives.

Dr. Ploss is a cardiologist with 20 years of experience. In 2014, Dr. Ploss left his practice of the Eureka, Calif.-based Pacific Heart Group to join the Adventist Heart Institute in Ukiah. Since then, Dr. Ploss has grown the practice to include locations in Willits and Garberville.
