UC Health names Dr. Evaline Alessandrini CMO: 4 notes

UC Health in Cincinnati selected Evaline A. Alessandrini, MD, to serve as CMO, effective Dec. 1.

Here are four notes:

1. Currently, Dr. Alessandrini serves as assistant vice president for improvement integration within the James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

2. She is also a professor and associate chair of outcomes and process improvement in the pediatrics department at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  

3. She is a member of the Academy for Healthcare Improvement’s board of directors and serves on the Leapfrog Hospital Advisory Committee.

4. A pediatric emergency medicine physician by training, Dr. Alessandrini also chairs the UC Health board’s Patient Care Committee.
